I have had the pleasure to meet Mel via Instagram and came across her page and was amazed at her initiative that she has taken on with the establishment of the mobile van with her husband that I think is so good for the community in Melbourne! I also had a great chat with her in regards to her products and was able to get good insight to the quality and was happy to buy and try for myself. I was not disappointed at all. Absolutely loved the shawls and will continue to buy from Modesty Hut. I’m in love 🫶. I bought the Felicity in Forest and it’s exactly that. Feels like a walk in a beautiful green forest.

I have been a customer of Modesty Hut since the inception of this business. They have consistently provided the best service and products. The material for various hijabs and jilbabs is of highest quality. I cant recommend this business enough.

So pleased with the amazing service Melissa has provided. I ordered the incorrect item and Melissa went out of her way so I could exchange my hijab to avoid shipping costs. The Grace Jersey Coffee Brown Hijab is a beautiful flowy fabric that is easy to drape and style. Love the extra length, which provides more coverage. 🤎🤎🤎

I love Modesty Hut’s hijab quality. As a Fashion Designer myself Ive been purchasing Melisa’s hijabs for years and replacing my everyday black Instant Modal Jersey once every 3 years, thats how long one hijab lasts me with almost everyday wear. Just made another large purchase and cannot recommend Melisa’s customer service enough, she spends so much time ensuring that the colours I have chosen are what I really want and match my wardrobe garments as I am very picky with my colours. There is a wide variety of hijab fabrics and colours to choose from, and we as consumers feel assured of getting products that are beneficial for us, the environment and the people who made them. I had such beautiful and enjoyable experience visiting Melissa (twice) in her showroom. She has a great set up and her knowledge on fabrics is really impressive. The felicity collection is my favourite, I wish all my scarves were this material! It has a stunning subtle weave, and sits so softly on me without moving around. I also recently purchased some of her printed chiffons, they are the most delicate prints and the lightweight material is lovely. I also recommend Melissa’s undercaps fand shampoo bar!) to everyone I talk to, I can never go back to any other cap, the Japanese cotton is SO soft. Looking forward to my next visit inshaAllah.

I have been searching for good quality hijabs for my mum, who will be going to Umrah (inshaAllah). She isn't a hijabi and wanted her hijabs to be comfortable, soft, breathable and instant (slip-on). That wasn't an easy task, so it's an understatement to say I was relieved to find Melissa and her ModestyHut❤️ I ordered the instant slip on's, 1pc&2pc's and the instant jersey modal ones+ the Japanese cotton undercaps.
